This website collects nothing

This site has no accounts, no forms, no tracking cookies, and no analytics. Reading it tells us nothing about you. The only way we learn anything about you from this site is if you choose to email us.

If you write to fwingeld@doogex.com, we read it, we answer it, and we keep the conversation so we can help you again later. We do not sell email addresses, and we do not put you on a marketing list because you asked a question.

ELD records belong to the carrier

When a carrier runs FWING ELD, the records its trucks make — duty status, driving events, positions, miles — are that carrier's records. FWING GROUP LLC stores and protects them so the carrier can meet its duties under the federal rules, including keeping records available for at least six months. We do not sell ELD records, and we do not use one carrier's records for another carrier's benefit.

Broker connections are the carrier's choice

A broker system can only see what an API key for that carrier's fleet allows, and a carrier can have a key switched off. What a connected system receives is set by the key's permission, and every use of a key is logged for the carrier to see.

Roadside transfers

When a driver sends records to a safety official during an inspection, the file goes to the official. That transfer is the driver's own action, made for the inspection.
